Lady Gaga went through security at the Vancouver airport dressed in this wild ensemble!

The pop icon doesn't make things easy for herself as she makes her way through security wearing her metal-studded corset top, forcing an official to scan her with a metal detector. Once inside the terminal Gaga enjoys a Coke Zero. 8/26/10

It is nice to see a celebrity like Gaga going through security like everyone else, but pity the poor security officer who has to deem her not a threat. This ensemble is just so impractical for air travel!!

First, there is no way that dress and those shoes can make it through security with all that metal.
Secondly, she appears to have a weapon on her glove, as some sort of Medieval spike is shooting out of the leather.
Third, everyone knows you don’t wear sunglasses whilst going through airport security. It makes you look shady and unpatriotic. Homeland security hates shady and unpatriotic people.
Fourth that hair has to be too high to get through the metal detectors and frankly it looks like a place that someone who does such things would conceal a weapon.
